i'm beginning to hate my weekends

friday night, up til almost 4am preparing for a yard sale. sister stayed up all night (she's working nights, so she's used to that).

745am she wakes me up with a 20oz coffee. i'm barely done rubbing the sleep out of my eyes when she looks out the back window and says "oh shit, there's people here." apparently when you put 9am on the signs as the starting time of a yard sale, people think that means 8am. bastards.

got just over $200 from the yard sale, so that's just some more cash for my grandmother to help pay off a few things, namely the water/sewer bill which MUST be paid prior to settlement or we won't have the certificate saying that it's been payed and can't go to settlement. kinda BS that they can't collect their money from the title company (which is a trusted escrow party to handle final payments on MORTGAGES, dunno why the township won't trust them to pay the water/sewer bill).

stayed over again saturday night, as we didn't get done cleaning up from the yard sale til about 6pm (started just after 4). then stayed up til 230 after my sister left getting things done. got a full 8 hours of sleep, me and my son woke up at the same time, but it was a shitty night's sleep because we were camped out on the floor in the living room.

clean up some stuff in the house before leaving, jam pack my blazer with things, pack the roof with a ladder and 4 chairs for the bar, and me and my son take the 2 1/2 hour trek home. got home and didn't even get a chance to relax.....had to unload the car because i will put both kids in it tomorrow, so have to have the backseat up again. kind of illegial to stack them one on top of the other in the front seat. i think......

i'm exhausted.

i think i woulda just drank the whole weekend if i had to do all that.....actually, i drank all weekend anyway, i didn't have to do anything remotely near requiring that much effort

Yeah, but you're a good man for looking after your family the way you do, so you should sleep well at night knowing that. Fuck the little green dots man, real life karma is so much more enjoyable.

i had 3 beers friday night, but that was all. wasn't like i didn't have the resources at my disposal either....brought home 5 or 6 full bottles and another 5 or 6 half empty bottles of liquer from the house. my bar will be pretty well stocked to start off with.

i really havn't drank much in the past few months, but all this shit is driving me to drinking.

my b-day is the last friday this month and also the day after settlement on the house. i think all i'm doing that day is driving to the bank to deposit the check from settlement, then coming home and drinking myself into oblivion. i deserve it by now.
