Good routine?

Hello, I'm Nick. I'm in need of good ideas and tips. I'm 5'8", weigh 170 lbs and 16 years old.
I use 35 lbs dumbells, never maxed out on a bench. I started working out 3 months ago. Since then have increased uscle size by an inch. Before I used 15 lb dumbells. Now 35. Great huh.
I have a 50 lbs barbell( can't afford more weights) I also own the perfect pushup. I currently have a routine where I do this:
30 military presses
30 bar curls
60 crunches
3 laps at about 300 ft each, the 30 calf raises after each lap, totaling 90
30 squats
30 bent rows
10 pushups

Then I take a day off, to grow some. Is that a good routine? Do I need protein sheakes? Just looking for tips or what not.
p.s at leg extensions at the school gym I maxed at 200 lbs. (my running tains my legs, I have no leg equipment) I soon will be getting more things.

Re: Good routine?

So I'm guessing you don't go to the gym? I think your best bet would be to find one. If that truly is not an option, then I would suggest better/harder bodyweight exercises.

For your pressing, take the time to learn how to do a perfect handstand. (without having to walk around to regain balance) Once you're able to do one, do them for holds. Start with seconds and work your way up to minutes. Eventually work your way up to being able to do presses from a handstand.

For your back, find a pullup bar/tree and start doing some chins pullups. If you can find a tree but it is too thick, wrap a towel around it and do some towel pullups.

For your legs, sprint or jump.

Another option is making a sand bag. You can make one very cheap, look online on how to make one. Actually I believe the sandbag to be one of the best workout options along with barbells. This will definitely help with your leg strength rather than power for your legs like jumping and sprinting.

If you do bodyweight exercises you can probably do them everyday without much worry of overtraining. If you decide to make a sandbag, you can probably use it everyday, but if you begin to feel overtrained (insomnia, fatigue, lack of motivation), then back off.

Eat protein to grow muscle. If you can't supply at least 1gram per pound of lean body mass, then add some protein shakes. read the stickies at the top, they have some great links to great info
