IGF-1 and site growth...

i think the risk is probably fairly low in your 20s--but make sure you do not have a family history of early onset cancer. Personally, it scares the shit out of me--but I am 42 so to me the risk would be too great versus the reward.

it is like all this stuff--the more we know the better choices we can make--.

either way, good luck.

em.

Yeap...there's risk in everything we do. It's a matter of staying informed and make the best choices we are willing to live with, Eddy
That's the reason I only did 40mcg for 30 days....instead of 100mcg for 50-60days like some do

I agree--it is all a balancing act (e.g. why drink when on a strong oral--will it damage yourself if you do? prob not, but why risk it).

should lance armstrong do igf-1....prob not...most bros--prob okay, but at least they are informed.

Eddy, have you ever known anyone that has taken IGF and then gotten cancer? Has Tat?

not me, but i don't know anyone who has been hit and killed by a train but that does not mean I can stand in front of one. I posted the article with the caveat that it is to be informed and take it for what it is worth.

If you dispute the article or its conclusions, come forward with sources and add to the discussion . In the meantime, here are a few dozen article to peruse at your leisure.

the evidence of increased level of igf-1 and cancer is pretty conclusive--just not as to the mechanism see e.g. Growth Factor Raises Cancer Risk

but just this summer there was a study that showed direct cause and effect of endogenous IGF and cancer see e.g. Cancer Cell International | Full text | Role of IGF-1/IGF-1R in regulation of invasion in DU145 prostate cancer cells

a good biblio is here if you have access to PubMed/Medline etc

Thanks for the answer and the info..

If you guys are injecting into muscle what pins are you using - could i use the insulin pins to put in chest and arms?

Im going to start takin it and will be using 60mcg a day pre-workout.

Do not do it pre-workout do it post workout right after workout. Sooner the better. Use insulin 1/2 inch 29 gauge. You want to shoot it into the muscle that you just trained.

So if you are doing bi's shoot 30mcgs in each bi.

If I were you I would get the IGF-R3 it works much better!

You wont get "site" growth, it's systemic, meaning it's in the blood, therefore it's everywhere. you will however get huge pumps where injected

So theres no point to mainly pin my lagging bi/tri and not the other arm so bring up the lagging arm?

It is believed to have site growth, the thought is that it is injected into the last muscle wo. That muscles receptors will be in need of the IGF and will be ready for the inject. However, there is no study that has been to done to say yes or no.
