if your s.o. lost a leg while you were dating/married would you stay with them?

The only reason I would leave is if her attitude changed, to one of entitlement, woe is me, kind of deal. A little pity is to be expected, but after an appropriate period, it would be time to get on with life.

I knew a guy. My bosses brother. Bit of a know it all, but a nice guy, none the less. He got cancer in his knee. My boss helped him, his wife, & kids out, many times during his illness. He lost his knee, but with a replacement, kept his leg. He has turned into such an asshole, the people that stayed through his illness, now wnat nothing to do with him. He has turned bitter & blames his terrible life (debt free in a 4,500 sq ft home with a gorgeous wife) on all the people that didn't help him(meaning the ones who did).
