If you had a time machine, Where would you go?

I'd like to check out the battle of Thermoyplae

i would go to the future get insider information & sports results, look at how i turned out, pick up some cures of disease that we havent figured out yet, go back and enjoy the good life!

I would get all the money I could together, go back and say, nice to meet you Mr. Gates. I have a hunch! LOL

I like the furture idea about finding cures for diseases as well. Just so you know I am not that shallow.

I would also like to walk a while with Jesus!!!

I would go back to the Crusades a d give the Christians M-16s.

I'd go back about 14 billion years and check out the first few minutes following the initial expansion of the big bang singularity.

Or go a few hundred billion years into the future to see what the Hubble constant (or unconstant) and fate of the universe will be.

These choices do present obvious secondary problems, though, like how to avoid being ripped apart/melted/frozen, but hey, that's the fun of make-believe -- you can do whatever you want, lol.

Oh, killing a distant relative would be cool, too. The whole paradox thing only applies to certain discrete, kinda-defined futures. Whether or not I ceased to exist would totally propel today's physics theories in the right direction. Although if I ceased to exist, I would never have existed in this timeline, and thus no one would know... crap.

go forward and grab a few thousand winning horses names then i would go back and tell my self a few things to correct some shit that has happened along with handing over the horses names then come back to the present

then go back and tell spitzer to get pics cause i think "kristen" would look good with a cock in her mouth

I'd go back to the high Middle Ages just to see if troubadours truly gave their loves a cherry that had no stone.

Id go back and live with the Indians... Hunt, fish, live off the land and make babies with my Sqauw

I'd go back and slap Eve across the chompers right before she ate the forbidden fruit, then I will have committed the first sin

To prevent my conception? Bastard.

I'd go back to about 1966, 48th St. Manhattan, and clean out the used guitar departments of every music store between 5th and 8th Aves.

I would travel as far into the future as i had to until that had a cure for diabetes so i could cure my son

I'd go back in time with a video camera and hang out with Obama while he snorts coke and talks smack about how horrible the USA is.

at the risk of sounding totally friggin' :rainbow: i'd go back and relive the last 18 years of my life. . .since i met my wife. . .they've been the best years of my life. . .a lot more "ups" than "downs" and the few challenges that we've faced have only made us stronger. . .

i'd probably go back and play one more high school football game too. . .i'd love to be under the lights, on a cool friday evening, with the smell of fall in the air, with my band of brothers around me and the stands full of people. . .zero in on some damn fool, running down the sidelines with the ball, aim my forehead for his earhole and just unload on his ass with no fear of pain or retribution. . .yeah. . .that would be pretty cool. . .

North America before the Europeans found it.

At least then I'd be able to get a suntan.

time machines are really more a ‘when’ than a ‘where’...

Lister: -- and bingo! We've got ourselves a time machine!
Cat: Let's see if the sucker works!
Kryten: Sirs, choose any year.
Rimmer: Since we can't guarantee this time drive is going to
function properly, I suggest we select a neutral time period for
our first jaunt.
Lister: He's got a point. Let's go to someplace nice and safe
and dull. How about 1422?
Cat: How about 1421?
Lister: What's the difference?
Cat: No difference. I just wanted to make it look like I was
paying attention.
Rimmer: Load 1421, Kryten.
Kryten: 1421 loaded, sir. August 17th. Engaging the time drive.
Lister: Hey, we did it!
Kryten: Indeed we did. All the ship's chronometers indicate that
this is August the 16th, in the year 1421, just one day out.
Rimmer: Give us visual. Let's see what it's like out there.
Lister: Okay, punching it up.
Lister: Again? We're still where we were!
Kryten: Of course. We're still in deep space, sir, only now
we're in deep space in the 15th century. Isn't it wonderful?
Rimmer: So we're still three million years away from Earth?
Kryten: Well, yeah.

I'd go back in time and:
- pick some winning lotto ticket numbers
- kick StickFigure in the groin

British television shows are quite humorous.

Sorry, I'm on dialup. I know I watched many seasons on PBS. It was a great series.

The Mesozoic era to see a natural Jurassic Park.

I'd love go back to the antebellum South. Hoop skirts and fiddle dee dees. Going to one of the big plantation parties would be fun.
