like when i shoot one on her canz?? actually, coming in contact with air does not kill sperm. otherwise how would you be able to give a sample for testing (e.g., motility) and/or freezing to be used later?? however, coming in contact with bromine (the anti-bacterial in hot tubs) would definitely kill it. . .
yes, once in air for a while it does not survive. obviously it still lives for more than a few minutes. I cannot remember the exact length of time it takes..
And you are correct that the bromine kills it, however any pool, bath, etc would kill it due to the chemicals in the waters.Even in typical tap water the bleach and additives kill it.Now I am interested in looking up the rest of the info

i've "made a sample" at home with my wife, took a shower, got dressed for work, ate breakfast, drove to the hospital, waited in the waiting room, delivered my sample to the lab and then god knows when they examined it for count and motility. . .but it was well over an hour after the "sample" was "drawn" and they were all still swimming. . .i'm sure that once it dries up, they're all dead. . .but up to that point, i don't think exposure to air does anything to them. . .

Sperm can live from several minutes to several days depending on their environment:

Exposed to air, on a cold surface or clothing, for example, sperm usually die within minutes
In a closed and clean container at body temperature, sperm can survive for 4-6 hours or even more
Sperm can be frozen at extremely low temperatures (but not in the refrigerator) and survive for years
Sperm can survive in the vagina for up to several hours
Most sperm die in the cervix within 24-48 hours, but some can survive for 4-5 days
Some sperm can also survive in the fallopian tubes for several days

Sperm exposed to room air on clothing, bed linens or toilet seats lose motility (the ability to swim) rapidly. Once the semen dries out, the sperm are usually dead.

Exactly, you made the sample. Did you put it into a container with a lid when you made it?

Yes it not only ruins because it gets dried out but also because any typical dust, soils, etc kill it as well.It relies on temperature to stay alive also.So when that temperature changes it dies. It all varies on where it is, it can stay "alive" for anywhere to a few minutes to longest I have read was 4 hours.
This is some damn interesting reading for me.

ive done it a few times in a public pool. im sure SOMEONE had to see us i mean come on, there we are face to face for a while on the side of the pool going at it. but thats the thrill of it all. but sometimes i pulled out and watched the tadpoles float away. i always wondered if that could happen. the pools were in Florida so the water is about 75-80 degrees. that would suck for the women in the pool. get like 15 women pregnant and their husbands want to know how.
I feel sorry for the kid who was just swimming around minding his own business, having a jolly 'ol time in the pool doing the waterfountain spit with the pool water.

some women take the condom out of the trash in the washroom and put the sperm into their pussy's trying to get prego.

it is alwyas best to tie the dome off.

my cousin always goes to the washroom and fills it with water to make sure it did not break. (when he's with unknown bitches LOL)

This thread is terrifying on something like a million levels. Just when you think you can't be appalled anymore, yous croll down and are.

i read an article someplace that showed that sperm can in fact survive in droplets of semen in pool water for enough time to jump into an unknown snatch and potentially get a girl pregnant

cells by themselves die fairly easily. cells in clusters of millions of other cells in some sort of aqeous vehicle...weird things happen because theyre often insulated from external elements for a bit...
