If you died, do you think EF would ever know?

I'm not close PERSONAL friends with anyone on here. I talk to a lot of people on the phone and email and what not, but if I died I don't think anyone would ever know.

What about you? what do you think?

Some people have vanished from the boards with absolutely no warning or explanation before, that makes me worry/wonder.

One person I think about a lot is Ceebs, she was very active on here, very involved, a mod on another board too, and one day just vanishes. This is someone I've hung out with in real life a few times too.
 
Nope. Actually, there are probably two people here that know my real name and the general vicinity of where I live, so it's possible.
 
yeah, people with significant others are the exception.. but most of us could probably dissapear and no one would ever know.

I think about Big Buck too, he joined the Seals.. most likely went off to the middle east.. lots of special forces guys have died, who knows if he is still out there or what.

No, I have made sure not to say where I live or my name. I am paranoid that my psycho ex fitness chick and some jackass juiceheads that hate me might find me here.

That's what worries me. No one would never know for sure but I can guarantee that if you don't hear from me after 2 months, then you can officially declare me dead, and give all my K to Lady Viking.
 
That's pretty weird because I was just thinking this yesterday. I don't think anyone would know; maybe after a meetup when people know my name they would, otherwise no.
 
would anybody care to know? That's the question but yet that wont happened in another 10000000000000000000 years so in a meantime i am stuck with you guys.. :)

If I am gone..I am pretty sure i'll be back..haunting :shocked:
 
killah i remember your name from the beats you sent me...pretty common so it might be hard to track down.

if i ever vanish it would have to be from death or prison...i will always post here, maybe not with the frequency as of now, but I will always check in from time to time.
if i vanish and anybody cares to read about why check the gaylord hearld times, my obit or court sentencing would be listed there

you think my last name is common?? I grew up in one of the most Italian cities in the country and there were no other families of the same last name. A lot of variations on it thought. with an "s" and an "a".

the general name is fairly common, though i guess the spelling is unique...their are many variations for sure
 
One member would definitely know and care.

Only 2 or 3 other members know where I am and my complete name. But, I don't think they would know (unless reading the obituaries of non-local papers is there thing). However, there are definitely 3 people on this board that I would want to be notified.

When I was supposed to get deployed, and before my shoulder was at the point it is now I had planned on leaving a package to my family in the event that I died. Inside was going to be some stuff like where I have certain assets, and what I wish to be done with other stuff. Included would also be a letter to an individual on the boards informing of my death.
 
Should something happen to me, I have a list of internet friends that my family should let know what happened. At present there isn't anyone from the fitness boards on that list.

Same here. I've been thinking about that a few times. She knows about "the fitness forum" and I'm pretty sure she'd give the good news to perfectworld and goldendelicious.

sorearms knows how to contact me. he would probably eventually call and my brother would tell you I'm dead. or my brother would probably come here and tell you even thoguh he's never posted here cause he knows how much I'm here. It's just sad... that thread is here and we're sad, but in a few days it will be unstuck and then.... then....
 
No one on EF, or real life would know, or frankly give a shit.
They'll never find my body.

I would definitely like to know & care.......


I have left specific instructions for my hubby to post & let you all know...now whether you all care or not is another thinhg.........
 
no one would have to tell me of bran's death. as my best internet friend ever, he could not die without my feeling it.
 
If it matters, I put a note in with my will, how to log on here and create a thread.
My daughter posts on her boards all the time, so she would know how.
 
I think so. Even if my husband just went through my cell and called people he'd get ahold of oh, 15 or so people who are members here.
