if i stop AAS use will my gains go away?

I am worried that if I do a few cycles and then decide to stop that I will lose my gains even if i do continue lifting heavy and eating heavy, or will I be able to keep my gains and move up from there naturally, probably an often asked question but I gotta know..

thanks alot!

gains can be kept with proper PCT,diet and training.usually people start AAS after yrs of training when theyre almost at their genetic limit.Once u cross that then keeping gains might be a problem.Post your stats

I should have worded this better, as of now I am 6'2'' 185 low b/f, Im saying I do a few cycles WITH PTC and then decide to stop, will the gains that i have gotten from those 2 cycles stay with me if i keep lifting heavy, or will I eventually lose the mass/strength even if i am still lifting heavy and eating well

if you have just done 2 cycles i would say if you do proper PCT you have a good chance to keep alot of it. But your body will only be able to hold on to so much depending on your genetics of course. If you jumped up like 30-40 lbs really fast it would be harder tohold on to it. but there is a certain amount that you body can hold naturally.

I personally believe you have a guy that has been eating right and lifting and has but a lot of muscle on natually or i should say with out added hormones. and you have reached your limit that way. then i think most can hold an extra 15-20 lbs of keepable gains past that limit. anything after that i am sure you will lose eventually by staying clean. But everyone is different. It also depends greatly on what body fat % you are trying to stay at.. it is easier to keep muscle when you have more fat on your frame.

once u go over your genetic limit, u will loose. for being 6'2'' i was able to get to 230 before doing a cycle. althought i was about 15% , on my 2nd cycle im into my 2nd week i am 235 and much less bf. i wont be able to handle much more imo, so i will continue to do cycles twice a years for the next 10 + years or so, i am a young guy so i can handle it, imo

hell why not your next one? lol... great bulking one right there, then get a cutter for the spring/summer :)

I'm of the mindset that a person CAN hold onto a portion of muscle beyond their own genetic peak. I've done 3 cycles so far over the past year and a half - both have been mild steroids - mainly eq / winny / tbol and one cycle I tossed in test. What I have noticed personally, for myself, is that about 70% of what I gain on eq/winny/tbol - I keep and only a small or no portion of the test cycles I actually keep. I have a small frame and have always had a good size chest but my arms were never bigger than 15 and never could get my delts to get "cut." Now that I have done these cycles, and no matter how much I cut, I always keep the delt cuts and my arms have never gone below 16. I usually get them up to around 17 - for me - that's huge. But just like the above posts, it is in your genetics..

I think people sometimes confuse that "genetic limit". Once AS pushes you beyond your genetic limit you will not stay there without it. But for most guys they are no where near their genetic limit when they cycle. They cycle as a short cut to getting to that limit and sometimes passing it (see: needsize, quadsweep, etc). Then when the person keeps a fair amount of their gains they incorrectly believe they have kept LBM beyond their genetic limit. When if fact they probably would have achieved close to the same size over time.
