in general, i completely disagree. it's the knee-jerk response of giving red which is retarded.
it's not really "doing anything", and is the sign of a stupid, shit-slinging monkey.
far, far better to say something (in a thread or a PM) which expresses why you're pissed off. i do that all the time.
of course, saying the same thing over and over is also stupid. but once is a start. sending red is part of the karma system, and so is a valid means of expressing disapproval (just like green is the opposite).
however, monkeys don't use it as anything other than meaningless and habitual retaliation. you can tell by the silly messages they leave (if they leave any).
