If I had it to do over again, my first cycle would've been a gram of test

After your first cycle, 1g + of gear is the minimum necessary for gains but I think for LBM preservation(cutting), 1g+ is not necessary.

You guys have to remember what this board is mostly composed of; people who probably shouldn't be juicing in the first place. Most of the people here are not pro's looking to win a competition (in which case 1+ g is fine). These are teenagers looking for every excuse to look bigger. I would choose your words carefully.

Yes. That's why "receptor downgrading" or "downregulating" is bunk.

Your thinking should be ... what is the least amount of gear I can take to get optimum results with perfect training diet and rest. Not ... why not double the dose if I can still control the sides. I think that the sides would be more evident than the difference in gains you will make by doubling the dosage.

A lot of the old guys from this place are on the AF board, and some still post here from time to time. They all seem to be doing fine.

With 5 weeks left to go, I wonder where will I go from here? I cut my training back even further. You would like this routine.

Monday: Chest/shoulders/triceps

Incline press 1 work set
weight dips 1 work set
seated milt 1 work set
the old as dirt mike mentzer era lat raise 1 set* (depending on how I feel)
close grip press 1 work set

wendesday:
Squats 2 work sets
glutham raise 1 work set
calf raise 4 work sets
seated calf raise 2-3 work sets

friday: chins 3 sets
bent over bb row 1 work set
deadlift 1-2 work sets
barbell curl 1 work set

I've been taking in about 500 grams of protein daily.

Slobber, any comments or input? I figured this belongs in this kind of slobberknocker thread: first time with a high dose, lots of food, heavy low volume training and great gains.... the slobberknocker way lol

That looks great bro. I'm on a very similar routine right now, actually. Good job with all that protein. I'm getting about 450-500 right now. Not an easy task, without relying too much on shakes. Happy gaining bro.
 
Thanks Slobber. It's a friggen JOB to get that much protein daily. If I miss even one meal, or one shake, it's over. If it weren't for shakes, I wouldnt be able to get this much daily. It really does take dedication to get all of that protein in. But I'm sure you know this as well as I. Now how about some icecream? ;p
