If I don't sign can I be charged with anything?

I searched the threads and could not find a definitive answer to this question.
If I have a domestic package delivered to my mail box and I take it somewhere besides my home without anyone seeing me. Can I be charged with anything? If so what? Is signing the only way to get charged with a crime? Isconsiracy charges a possibility? I am getting legal muscle on Monday but would like to get a few other opinions.

If they were going to do a controlled delievery it would be while you were picking up the package or shortly after, if you've already picked it up and made it somewhere your likely okay.

you take possession and a law authority gets proof, you can be charged. pretty simple. you don't want any risk, then don't take possession.

That's correct. Once you have the package in your posession it gives the "pigs" grounds for search warrent and whatever they find goes against you. If they don't find anything in the search then you have a chance to get the posession charge dismissed.

There are ways around this problem. Simply set up so you dont have to sign for anything.

lets say you sign for a pack and a minute later youre swamed by feds and arrested.
youll go through a tortorous one month of hell before, if youre lucky, charges are dropped.

so yes... youll probablly wont get charged.
but that one month of jail, lawyers, interrogations, and court hearings will be a nightmare you wont forget!

He's right. Cops can say whatever they want happened-and yes they will lie to nail your coffin shut. I've had friends get popped and the cops threaten to seize his home, arrest his wife for possession too(causing his kids to be put in in foster care) if he didn't admit guilt on the spot. Lots of drama-gotsta be very careful! And never, ever throw your used pinz/empty gear bottles in your garbage outside of your house. Once your garbage is put out for collection it's fair game for the cops to sort through. It's the quickest way for cops to get a search warrant for your crib if they're suspicious of you.
