If a package is seized at your business can they go to your house?

Lets say you own a business and you recieve your package there. If a controlled delivery is performed than you only get busted with what you had mailed. But can they go to your house and search it?

Not a wise buisiness move to have your place turned upside down, your compters confiscated, all the while your empoyees are watching and getting paid

That sucks bro, but in all honesty it's irrelevant with respect to this thread... Thats like saying I got busted with a kilo and and a bottle of viagra, did 5 years hard time, am a convicted felone, and spent 100K in attorney fees, so WATCH OUT FOR THAT VIAGRA FELLAS!

The 3000 ox's sent it over the top, anything else was just icing on the cake.

It depends. If it's personally addressed to you at your business, then yes, they can search your house. If the business is owned by you and you aren't incorporated, then yes, they can search your house. Even if it's not addressed to you and you are incorporated, no judge will deny them search and seizure rights at your house based on this.

The DEA and USCBP are serious about controlling drug importation. You are making a serious risk if you import any drugs or send them via mail, FedEx, etc.

bottom line is if they have a reason to belive you have stuff at your house, they will search you. so don't give them a reason to.
