The $150 payment is for a car I totalled a couple years ago. That payment will hopefully been paid off soon. I'm telling you guys I have some bad luck and when it hits it all hits at once.

My brother had that same thing happen to him...he had to roll it into his current loan so he ends up paying like $400 for a '82 Chevy with 150,000 miles....

Don't know the equity situation on your good car, but if you have some positive equity, look at combining the two loans into one for a lower cost.

Call the Doctor's office to see if you can negotiate a lower payment. Cite financial difficulties. They usually will work with you and not report you to credit agencies. You can try the same thing with the credit cards. They may report you however.

In fact about the whole car thing. You may want to consider selling it all together and getting something really inexpensive right now. You insurance is going to be upsurd. If you have a cheaper car that is paid for, you can more than likely drop to liability insurance versus the full coverage you are required to carry now.

Simple fact is you may need to eliminate things you like to do to make it through this time. Give up on the going out on the weekends and get a part time job. The bartending suggestion is a good one for cash.

You ain't kidding. I did want to move out this Spring/Summer. Looks like thats not going to happen. Hopefully I can find something to do to make some quick cash and get these lawyers/bills/fines paid.

Reducing expenses is the easiest and most immediate way to increase cash flow. Gotta cut deep in times of need. I agree that you should sell your car too. There are plenty of nice cars to be had for under $350/mo. You can go get a brand new Saturn on lease for a little over $150 mo. Maybe not ideal, but your situation is not ideal either.
