no no, a little of it is totally fine, you guys want to advertise for new members, and celebrate the whole thing. I can relate, being a member and founder of a few highly successful groups here as well.

small boards are an unavoidable byproduct of huge ones like EF, but I feel that usually we all suffer for it.


I'm pretty dissapointed to find that female chat is now being divided between two boards. EF is potentially an awesome venue for a secure women's forum, but steadily draining off a significant percentage of female discussion is only going to mute the dynamic dialogue I'd like to see encouraged.

Even the fact that I have to post this in the general chat forum is a testament to that fact.

Well the way i see it, with the other board, the men can view whatever. Women cant really put up their questions and like miss24k said....her diet log .....she feels more comfortable in the Iron Angels board.
If we bitch at each other or if we are just asking about relationships, at least on the Iron angel board you do not have to worry bout people joking and shit around about it. We get honest answers and encouragement there.
You made a thread wanting a forum that only women could view anyway right? Well, we have the same thing, its just not exactly EF.

that's what I was getting at in my above post. The female members here are being subdivided into two smaller, less active forums. SK, EF pulls a LOT of women who browse, but never post. I'd argue that you and I have no idea how many women really do check this place out, but are unwilling to post due to endless sea of dudes surrounding the women's forum. EF has massive potential for a secure women's forum....bigger than admin here even suspects I'd wager. Women who'd pay for that security. I would. That would be the thing to finally make me open my purse for EF.

And SK you already are a paying member here. And how many of your club members are paying EF members? Why go elsewhere for a service you could get here if you'd only ask?

Not being rude, but really why do you guys care? We love our board away from this board. We all still post the same here as we did before. I may be missing your point? ;)

I think there is an assumption that the Iron Angel Chat Board is a replacment for the Girl Talk Forum. It isn't. Many of us have shared things on that board that we wouldn't share with other members (private or not). Many of use have gotten even closer thanks to the IA board.

We have cried, laughed, yelled, bitched, fought, and cried again on that board. For some of us, opening up to others, whether it's about our diets, relationships, sex lives, etc. is not an easy thing to do. Some of us have shared things that we may not want our significant others (some of our members have Mods as Significant Others), friends, family, etc. to know about. The Iron Angel board is loved by many because we can be ourselves without being judged and scorned. There is a level of trust that exists on that board that does not exist on elite fitness.

Despite the existence of our board, many of the Iron Angel members do post on Girl Talk.

I agree, but female members increase traffic (sponsers like that), so the admis kiss their ass to stay here. Private boards, free plats, lenient rules. Female thread deletes are rare

but when the girl talk forum was made, guys could view but not post in there? I saw that dunk had posted in there yesterday. It may be gone now, im not sure.
If they would make a private forum for just girls, im sure that the ladies would post in it......look at this thread with lestat and awitty using smart remarks in here.....no wonder we want a private forum
