Please Scroll Down to See Forums Below I was shot with a 22 caliber in the lower leg, below the knee to the inside. Miracliously I didn't need surgery. No broken bone or arteries. I can't walk on it obviously I have a pain as if I did crazy heavy calves and the tendon behind the knee is in so much pain aswell as the knee joint. Any Idea on healing time?

Well I was hanging out with a friend of mine that I know for some time. Anyways, he wanted to show me his new gun, not aiming it of course, and me standing alittle to close he slide the slider back and the gun went off into my leg. I didn't feel it at first, it took about 5 seconds for me to realize that what had happened. Then the pain came. He drove me to the hospital and now they are pressing charges on him.

This is going to sound weird, so hang on.
VA hospitals have Docs and therapists that deal with gun shots.
They can examine you and really tell you the truth.
A 22 doesn't tumble so you are probably going to be fine.
Might take a year to heal.

Pretty harse words buddy. If I knew that he was going to bring out a gun I would have told him to keep it in his house, that is first off. Second of all he is a bounty hunter which is why he has guns to begin with. Third of all he was robbed in the past and again another reason why he has them.
Don't be so quick to judge unless you know the whole story. People can so quick to critize (spelling) others.

Doctor said I was lucky, i didn't break bone or cut any major arteries or vessels. The Bullet broke up in the calve at three places, he said give it time eventually it will come to the surface. At that point you can a in office procedure to remove them. I can hop/walk alittle better today. It happened monday morning 5am. I am hoping to be able to walk by the end of the week or atleast move alittle better to get into the gym and start traing alittle. I lost 6 lbs already, I am just coming off cycle also, so double wammy.
