I was in a very serious car accident on super bowl Sunday. I was t-boned on my side of the vehicle by a 15 pass bus (the kind that transports nursing home people around) traveling between 45-50mph. After being cut out of the car I was rushed to the Washington Medical Center Trauma Unit for evaluation. I came too and you talk about PAIN!
I made out considering what I was hit by. I suffered three broken ribs, my whole left side of my body is black and blue still and I have a very mild nurothorax(spelling). Basically I feel like I was hit by a bus. The doctor said if I wasn't the size I was it would of been a hell of a lot worse and the paramedics told me 80% of the victims they see that are involved in that serious of an accident don't make it out alive, I feel very thankful.
My doctor told me I wouldn't be able to do any type of serious weight lifting for 6 weeks. Here's the question I was too much of a bitch to ask my doc because I was saving it for you. Since I'm still taking 4-6iu's of HGH will that help heal my ribs ever quicker and get me back in the gym sooner.
Answers to the most frequent questions I've been asked:
1. I was driving an 2004 Acura TL, the insurance company declared the car totaled.
2. Yes, I did get to see the end of the game, although I don't remember too much of it because of the percocet and shots of dalotit(spelling).
3. It was both our faults, the bus driver ran a red light and I made a left hand turn in a no left hand turn zone......that oops almost cost me my life.
4. Yes, I was sober....the cops did come to me ask me if the needles and syringes in my trunk were for steroids and they did know what to make of the fina kits......I just played stupid and told them I had know idea why I was even in D.C. (Concussion)
