Indeed. Blacks are only 13% or so of the US population, that's not enough to make or break a candidacy if it all comes down to race. Clearly there are plenty of Whiteys, myself included, who seem to be perfectly fine with the idea of a Black President, as long as he meets the other usual requirements.
