My left knee has been somewhat sore for the last couple months. I've been biking for over 6 months, it is my main way of transportation. I'm going to go in to a bike shop to have an expert judge my fit to make sure my seat and handlebars are in the right spot.
But... for the time being, my left knee is worn out and I need to get it strong again. What should I do? I know that I might need to give it rest, but that the same time I don't want to just sit around and get fat. I'm thinking about doing some swimming for cardio.
I have not been lifting lately. Would doing some sort of strength training help my knee or hurt it?
I just want to do whatever it takes to get this fixed, so I can continue to go on in my life and bike down town and dance in the club with the ladies, without feeling pain.
