I think I need to stop lifting for a while.

Between divorce, every god damn cold and flu that seemed available this year, and an insane work schedule, I have not had a minute to get in there. Plus, my contract expired and I didn't know since I got rid of my land line and didn't update my phone info to the gym. It sucks, but I think I have to be cardio, push-up pull-up guy for a while. I'm bummed. I'll lose so much weight. Any home exercises you orbholios can advise me on?

you can do dips on a chair by stacking books on ur lap..

figure shit out with books as weights for pullups...

put a backpack on with books in it, run up stairs (2 at a time)...or do vert jumps up them..

pushups with backpack on, diamond pushups with backpack on, incline pushups (feet on chair)..

put books in a backpack and curl em by holding onto the bpack strap

calf raises on the end of a step with a backpack full of books... deadlift heavy shit u find in the grocery store... like when ur shopping go find the dogfood section and just start deadlifting the food in the isle

Cool. Good advice. I can picture doing snatches in Petsmart. Lol. Plenty of books though, and I've been running ladders, doing power skips, sprints, running bleachers since it got nice out. Haven't lost too much from my legs. Anything for back so I can stay somewhat even? I'm trying to think of something I can row with.

grab a bag of dogfood with both hands and do bent over rows with it.

or u can buy like sandbags i guess, i thought u said u had pullup bars?

if not u can go to a road sign and pack ur backpack with boosk again grab onto the sign and lean back so ud fall down if u let go... pullurself back up to standing, u can do it with one or 2 hands.

or with the backpack or books resting on ur belly u can get under a chair and grab it and do like upsidown pushups (it would be pullupsish)

you could also go buy some 2x4's or something for a home building center which wouldnt be more then 20 bucks id assume cut a nail them and make it into a MP, DL bar, of course its gotta be some shotty weight but some is better than none in my opinion... or just go to a canadian tire or something and buy a BB bar for 15-20 and i think they sell a set of plates for 75, if that doesnt interest you perhaps just do some of sublimes ideas

I find that catching fllies with chopsticks really keeps me sharp when I'm on the go. I also like to do the following:

-Bench Press giant logs or run around with a bunch of them tied to my shoulders
-make grapefruits explode by squeezing them so hard
-breaking bricks with my hands, feet or face (obviously)
-dive into and climb out of quicksand pits
-wrestle alligators
-deadlifiting small cars like austin minis or smart cars if I happen to walk by one
-walking around with a hot bikini ladened woman on each shoulder
-climbing buildings from the outside instead of taking the stairs, often burning buildings with babies trapped inside if I want an extra challenge
-Kegels

Y'know, for when I can't make it into the gym.

True, but when you do it you have to follow a rule that says at least one part of your body MUST be in contact with a wall adjacent to your computer at all times in order to give it the requesite amount of difficulty.
