lol

The fella in that post seems like a nice enough guy though. He has absolutely no idea what he is talking about but he is asking for help at least.

I personally feel that the worst bodybuilding posts are the ones by people who don't have a clue what they are on about, but seem determined to turn everyone else around to their way of thinking. Kind of like that obese sweaty man that every gym has with long balding hair, in a bright yellow spandex suite with a belt permanently attached to his waist telling people how to leg press properly.

Have him start a journal over here since you're going to be helping him out....It's very rewarding working with kids, expecially lanky ones, because he can pack on 100 quality lbs and at 6' 6" still be lean as hell.

He looks like an ideal candidate. After 8 months he'll have enough idea of working out to be able to lap up some whole-body training and be ready to grow like a weed.

Wow, throw in some ill-advised steroid use and you'd have the perfect "doing everything wrong" post. But, unlike 90% of the guys out there who ask for "help/critiques", it seems like he might be willing to take advice and change what he's doing.

Yeah I kinda feel like a dick now for being so sarcastic about it. Kicking someone when they're down is not exactly a nice thing to do - I'll try to make up for it though.

as long as you help him theres no reason to fell bad. i mean, it was funny :D

OK well to get this thread on the right track, I once saw a thread (I think it was herre on Elite's training forum but I'm not usre - it was deiinitely a BB forum though) where someone was asking for advice on how to gain weight. Some dumbass, in all seriousness, advised that he "start to lift weights", as though the guy hadn't already thought of that on his own. I wish I could find the thread because it's hard to believe without reading it yourself :p

I love it when someone tries to give advice by posting their routine, and it ends up being worse then the newbies routine.

"Make sure you hit them bis, at least 9 sets, if not more."
