I think I have a cavitty?

Im 38 and this is the first cavitity I have ever had.. I just had my teeth xrayed and cleaned 4 weeks ago and 2 days ago one of my bottom teeth started hurting.. I guess its a cavitiy. What do they do for cavities? Im wigged out.. I brush like 4 times a day ........................................

Cavities are not normally painful, until they get very bad, which takes quite some time. It's not something they would have missed at your last checkout.

If you have tooth pain, make an appointment with the dentist to find out why.
