Go on, I'll bite. What Federov cat?

Ok, I just did a google. Looks like there's some BBer called Federov.
I thought you must be referring to a feline of a breed called Federov.
;)

Milo and purepowermag are my mags of choice. Milo has no advertisements, only quality info.

seein all those bad asses in that magazine floors me...the only thing I don't like about flex is all the supplement b/s.

buy this supplement it will make u big (of course weider gets a kick).
No buy this one you will grow huge like your bodybuilding hero's

all b/s

It should teach you fundamentals and truths about steroids and steroid use, because we all know...thats the way to look like those mofo bodybuilding juice induced mofo's

Would you rather pay another $5-10 more for a magazine that's ad-free? The ads in the magazine makes the publishing of the magazine cheaper. If you've been in the game long enough, you should know by now what to listen to and don't. The ads aren't that bad anyways.

its not necessarily the actual ads that are the problem- its the fact that the magazine is pretty much run by the suppliment companies.

Agreed. That plus the fact that many of the adverts pose as articles. You begin reading the 'article' until you realise it's spouting some crap about a supp then the penny drops. Does anyone have any estimate of how much of an issue of Flex or M&F is actually non-advert? Maybe the table of contents but even that will have ads plastered all around it?

The picture from Flex that's indelibly etched in my mind is that pic of 2 pro BB's I think Kevin Lavrone and Gunther Schlierkamp teaming up on barbell curls with something like 315...standing side by side with 2 sets of hands on the bar and a look of pure anguish on their faces as their heaving the weight up.

I think that spread had them double teaming a leg press too with something like 5000lbs.
