the problem with those mags is:
a. they are sponsored by the supps. so all the advice and ads will support major suppliment usage.
b. they need to fill up an entire magazine every month. you can't do that if all you have to say are the basic principals of working out and throw in one or two routines per month and an interview. so, they need to elaborate. a LOT. whole articles devoted to triceps, and whole routines devoted to triceps, and the overworking of your triceps and suppliments to take to get your triceps to grow cause they aren't, and pictures of guys who's triceps DID grow cause of the suppliments they take and amazingly, also get paid to promote...

I am subscribed to flex and find it redundant.Same articles different guys. No recipies or nutrition info. I do find a few usefull things in each issue but I dont think its worth the money. Next I think I will subscribe to muscle and fitness. Its geared less toward Bodybuilding and more towards diet and fatloss. Although it does cover bodybuilding aswell.

I have two fundamental problems with flex.

1. They list impossible workouts that the pros don't eve do in real life.

2. They use fake plates to show the guys lifting way more weight than they are capable of.

I remember the old days of flex when they had articles about how to tell if your steroids were fake and stuff. My bro still has some of those old issues, they didn't have very many adds then, and actually had solid advice.

I used to pick up Muscular Development but it sorta turned into a gossip mag (Gregg Valentino as a columnist???) & less good training articles. When they got rid of Carlton Coker, they lost credibility imo.

I still pickup M&F.

Just like muscle media before the MM2000 days.

I am thinking on picking up either PLing USA or Milo.

I haven't bought one of those magazines in ages. Most are a collection of ads with a few pages of relevant information thrown in.
