the shorter the cycle, the lower the side effects, period.

Word. That's why I won't do 12 weeks. Too much time before I feel comfortable to use again. Feels like lots of wasted time and your body can only grow so fast while on so why go for 12 weeks with the last few weeks being periods of little to no growth. Once you're gains slow to a crawl, stop the bloody cycle. I disagree with staying on just because it feels good. INSTINCTIVE bodybuilding ladies and gentlemen.

I did my first 1 year on with EQ only in 1999. Just my personal experiment. The result was a lot of quality muscle although minimal increase in size, just made what I had look 100% better.
I then went off for a fall and winter. Trained and ate right, but lost the look, but not the general weight and size. So now its 2 cycles a year and low test bridges between. Im old enough that
to train otherwise wouldnt allow me results worth noting.

I've been on for almost 10 months now......

Keys to long cycles:

1. Rotate anabolics and androgens
every 2 months.
Works quite well.

2. When coming off(1,2 or 3 years straight)

I call it a coming-off HPTA up-regulation bridge:

1. 20mg Anavar/day for 6-8 weeks
2. 1mg Arimidex ED
3. Clomid 50-100mg ED
4. Bromocriptine(opt)(2.5-5mg/day)
5. HCG: No real use.
6. 100mg DNP/day(Highly recommend it)
7. ALA 1000mg/day or Metformin(1700mg/day)

BEST: Insulin (If you know how to use it)

The DNP combats the rise in T3 which is the main catabolic
hormone post-cycle along with cortisol.
Since it decreases T4-T3 production, it brings T3 levels
back to normal while increasing fat-burning.
The Anavar allows your HPTA to recover UP TO A POINT,
therefore when you come OFF completely, your HPTA is
partially up-regulated already. Therefore it TAKES LESS
TIME TO GET BACK TO NORMAL.

So, after the 6-8 week Anavar "bridge", you come OFF
completely, but you still take:

1. 1mg EOD Arimidex
2. 50mg Clomid ED
3. ALA or Metformin
4. Bromocriptine(opt)
5. DNP(opt)
6. Insuin or PGF2A

It should only take about 2-3 weeks to get your HPTA back
to full working order.

This coming "off" schedule should work for VERY long
cycles also.....2,3,4 years straight.

After 5+ years I have no idea as I've never given this
cycle to people that have been "on" for
more than 5 years.

Muscle-loss btw is pretty minimal. Yo actually tend to lose#
fat rather than muscle thanks to the DNP's proteolytic
and lipolytic effects.
With insulin, you shouldn't lose an ounce of muscle.

Who made up this rule that you should stay off as long as you stay on? I don't think there is any reason to stay off more then 3-4weeks as long as your doses are reasonable and you rotate cycles of heavy androgens(test, d-bol ect) with cycles of low androgen drugs.
BTW when I say 3-4 weeks off I mean three-four weeks once everthing clears your system.

YUM

You can rotate like Fonz says and have good results. I have done that and was happy with the results after a year and a half. But nothing works better than time off. I have been doing this a long time and after trying it both ways there is no question that you will respond better to your next cycle if you are starting it after a break. That said, let me define time off. For me time off is 175mg/wk of test and deca with 25mg/day of oxandrolone. (So how off is it?) I will use this for 5-6 weeks and then start my next cycle. If you do it like this you will keep your gains, and maybe even grow a little, and not interfere with the gains of your next cycle.
