the whole movie should have revolved around the ancient times when they thought they were gods, screw the modern day stuff
Fuck yeah. I forgot why the predators left in the first place.
Anyway... the concept was good. A lost pyramid city beneath the anartica. Now if you had to include humans in it, it would have made a gripping movie if you DIDNT use predator or alien. Perhaps an Indiana Jones type of movie. Or a movie similiar to Identity where a killer stalked among them, picking them off one by one.
Or
The movie could have been about the alien queen crashlanding (accident or miscalculation caused the ship to hit the frozen lands) thousands of years ago. And only recently, due to global warming

she was slowly rethawing and laying eggs...the predators pick up on the signal she gives off and recognize her as an old enemy that they battled million of years ago when a young predator unwittingly brought an egg back on their ship (ala the original alien) and it mutated and hatched more inside the crew and when the ship crashed, it was the predators fending off a genocide of their race by the aliens.
Or
Hell just have the Predators to be nothing more than a mutated alien itself. Aliens retain traits of their hosts. It could have been an Aztec warrior that was impregnanted with the embryo and given an antidote from the shamans, it didn't work in time so the "alien" came out as an original predator. I mean, they have the same 2 arms 2 legs, head, torso of humans and then they have the fucked up mouth and strength and talons of the aliens.
