its really hard, because i never talk about shit unless i have an interest in it and only even talk to my friends to ask a question or say something, its not constant talking, ya we will tell a relevent story here and there, but other than that we just chill and dont talk.

the people iv met my age that are good at talking to girls basically never shut the fuck up ever even not around them, so i think thats correlated.

anway, as someone who doesnt talk much, i was dabbling with asking point blank semi personal but not weird questions, or making blanket statements. when shit started to get complicated or id forget what we were talking about id shoot out a "your right" (which was the most helpful phrase of the night), and "ya i guess", which also helped.

also, i realized the reason i hate talking to girls my age. they all need to be liked and have attention so badly and act super fake to get it to the point where its not like talking to a human being. a couple girls that i know for a fact hate me and one threatened to call the cops on me a while back, and were acting super nice to me. i tried to make it awkward but no matter what i said she just wouldnt. not to mention the shit they talk about.

people i knew as little girls now i come back and see them after a year and they are talking about how they are sluts and stuff now and dont like boyfriends cause that way they dont have to be loyal. people who the year before had never even seen a penis. basically in my agegroup its trendy and awsome to be a slut, and talk about it.

Another thing is environmental/social observation. ALot of people love talking about that...and it makes for good convo. That's why people love comedians.
