I pity the poor Italian babies

Last week, while on holiday, we ran out of baby-food. You know the type: small glass container normally with a fruit-cereal mixture (don't know the english name for it, but sure it would be different in every country).

Anyway, so we go to a Supermarket to get some... yeah, they were there, they are called "omogenizzato", BUT

not only did they have the traditional fruits-based ones, but they also had the following:

Pork
Salmon
Ostrich
rabbit
Beef
Veal
Horse

WTF??? Who feeds a 4 month old baby liquified horse, rabbit or ostrich?

Funny thing is that you never notice these things until you have a baby, before I would go straight to the cold-cut sections to get my load of Parmesan and Prosciutto....
 
well thats why they grow up muscular and strong and with a chest full of hair at 5 yrs old.

I forgot, they also have the flat fish, you know, the one that lays on the sea-floor

I guess next in line will be catfish baby-food
 
Are you sure that was the baby food section and not the pet food section? (the containers look the same)

I know that there are real strange pet food flavors available. e.g. Rabbit, duck, venison and so on

Actually there was a scandal a few years back where McDonalds was caught using Kangaroo meat in their burgers.....

Hold up bro, you should know more than I do re spelling of words...
while I could've spelled it w/ a C, I chose to spell it in it's original manner. Most Latin & Greek had the letter K in place of the C. Don't wanna give ya a history of languages & linguistics lesson now, but that's the way it was. Re the rest, doesn't even merit a response...

well, one of my cousins (who is greek) girlfriends (also greek) hairdressers (greek) next door nieghbour (yep. greek) knew a guy (greek) who heard two (greek) anthropologists talking, and when they were arguing (yes. in greek) about some ancient (greek) artifacts about the origins of human history, and apparently, one of them threw up his hands and said "its all fuckin greek to me!" and so therefore, imo, its pretty clear that at least one anthropologist in the world would say yep, adam must have been greek.

I'm macedonian and we have the issue with greeks for ages, so I'm little sensitive there
