The last 4 weeks have been the worst of my life. To make a long story short. I'm stuck in an extremely big problem through no fault of my own and it seems to be getting worse every day.

A company that i co-founded and was an executive of is gone down the tubes. thanks to my partner.

We started this company 2 years ago and were slowly building it up. In Sep on this year. My partner was caught trying to smuggle 51 pds of coke in a company car from Mexico. He got out on bail but in NOV our office was busted by the DEA. They searched the entire floorbut didn't find anything anywhere. But when they got in to his office and broke in to his private safe. They found hundreds of pounds of coke.

Obviously as the office had been leased in my name, i was along with him held in to custody. I had to spend 4 days in detention and paid 125 grand to make bail. My attorney has currenlty informed me that. my x cocksucking, motherfuckin partner has told the investigators that i was invovled in it. A guy that i went to school with who's currently a lawyer told me that, my x partner will try to involve me anything and everything cause that he assure that whatever conviction he'll be sentenced to will be a little soft, if he can prove it was partnership intent than sole intent.
I asked him what should i do and he tells me and i quote "You can either run and prove that you were guilty or you can stay and fight and make your lawyer rich and still go to jail. Its your word against his and since your name is there with him, the chance of you totally coming out scratch free and him goin down are almost non existant. If i was you i'd gather what ever i can dissapear for ever.

But i don't want to run. I have my family here, my girlfriend, my house, investments, my friends everythng. Why should i run if i didn't do anything wrong. If i had a million dollars to give to lawyers, i probably could stay but i have almost lost everyting that i worked for through no fault of my own. What would you do?

Do any of the company records show ANY dubious cash income that could possibly be derived from coke sale?

If not, then do you have any larger personal cash income that could possibly be pointed to as being attributed to coke sale?

If they go through your bank personal records and the financials and bank records of the company they should not be able to find any traces of income from coke sale, right?

They still have to prove you are involved, as far as I can tell.

That really sucks though, especially since it's not free to be represented in court.

If you run, your in deep shit, though.

hire someone on the inside to pay mr.x a visit!

Hmmm....

1. Mr. X dies and f4209211 is the only one left to be prosecuted.

2. Mr. X gets ruffed up and in turn uses that as an indicator of f4209211's involvement.

Yup, and get a new lawyer he's giving up before it starts.

I agree, Take it from the man who wrote the book!!! Survival of the fittist!!!!!

good luck man. I feel terrible for ya. And if you choose to run......god's speed. I'll pray for ya bro.

Don't Run.

There have been plenty of guys who faced worst ( non violent ) crimes
and came out of it ok. Will it be difficult. Hell yes it will. But like you said,
you do have roots there and it's my view, they are worth fighting for.

But let's say you do run. You will get tired. You will get caught. You will not
get the same opportunity that you have now to salvage a terrible situation.

I can imagine you are under tremendous pressure right now. But your life
is more important than a few months or years, which is the worst you could get.

Besides, if the evidence is as weak as it sounds, and if you have no previous
offenses, and with a real attorney, you may get off with probation or less.

I would say, the best you could possibly hope for, short of a full innocent verdict,
is some probation with deferred to judication, and provided you stay out of trouble,
it will be eliminated. Though, this would take an attorney who is in tight with god.

Best of luck, hang in there friend, and blessed be.
