I need some good advice

ok so i know how many of you may feel about noobies and I understand. I'm pretty intelligent in certain areas and I get irritated sometimes when someone doesn't know at all what they're talking about. But while I am new to all of this i'm not completely uneducated. I've done my fair share of research and I do know (for the most part) what I'm doing to myself and so on. Many of you seem to know what you are talking about so I thought I'd ask your advice.

I have a really skinny frame. I'm 21 years old and I weight 155 lbs. It's bad. I haven't really gained any weight (other than some slight flab on my stomach) since the beginning of highschool. I really do workout and nothing really happens, other than feeling really sore the next 2 days. Some slight muscle gain maybe, but nothing anyone would notice. I've finally just got sick of it. My friend is a personal trainer now and he suggested that I try an oral steroid for a month or a month and a half to see how that worked out and if it helped. I would give anything to be a big muscle man, but I was definatly NOT blessed with that type of body. I'd like to just look a little bigger, to be a normal size so I fit into my shirts better. What would you recommend? And do you think in that span of time I would even be able to see any significant change in size if I worked out regularly? I've heard T-Bol was good, but difficult to find. As far as side effects go... sudafed (the nasal deconjestant) and too much caffine cause my heart to race. I dont have a heart condition or anything, but have any of you heard of any effederine-like side effects like creatine has on some people's nervous system and heart? Also what is the likelihood in a month or two that gynecomastia or testicular shrinkage will occur? I'd also like to be able to get my pecker up when having sex. That'd suck alot.

Any help will be greatly appreciated and noted. I realize that it can be frusterating dealing with someone who's all confused. But like I said...it'd be appreciated. I'm just trying to get educated. I've gotta do something. I can't stay this size for ever. It's taking a toll on my self esteem. I've even tried eating alot more, but the only place the fat shows up is in my stomach and hips. Any ideas guys?

i just gifted you a week plat membership to do searches and learn a lot. I just ask that if yoiu think you learned a lot, consider the few pennies it costs to have your own and support the site while you are at it.

enjoy bro

Nice my friend. That was very kind (and prompt) of you :)

I think the first thing to look at is your diet and training...What does your daily diet and weekly training look like?

Having been in the same situation as you I understand where you are coming from. I was 21 and exactly 155lbs (I wasn't kidding when I said I have been in the same situation). I went the aas route and absolutely regret it. There is no such thing as someone that can't grow at all. You may need more calories, different training, something; but no one NEEDS aas to grow, it just helps. Post up what you are eating, how you train, etc. The more detailed you are the more we can help you.

If you want any advice on what worked for someone with the same body type as you feel free to PM me anytime.

Most times is food/rest/training that's the issue BUT sometimes it's not!
Do yourself a favor and go to a doctor, in this case a general doctor is good and ask for a testosterone test. It's kind of expensive but with insurance is no problem. Come up with a reason to have it tested, like no sex drive and then come back here and tell us what happened.
BTW, how is your sex drive? Are you gaining fat easily? Are you tired and sleep 9 hours+ a day?
It might not be anything but if you have a hard time making any gains it's worth looking into it

Post what you typically eat in a day and what your training looks like. I bet you'll find a lot of answers there

Well...lol this is where I'm likely going to sound bad. I'm in college so I don't have alot of options on food. I don't even have a stove or oven, so cooking is not really possible. If I get up in time for breakfast I eat some eggs, some sausage, and maybe a biscuit or a pancake. If not I eat a cereal bar on the way to class. I eat a chicken ceasar wrap or a burger or a chicken sandwhich usually for lunch. Then for dinner I'll have either some type of chicken pasta, or pizza or maybe a sandwhich. Honestly I don't really pay much attention to what I eat. (obviously) Not that I don't care or think it's not important. I just don't have tons of options and time. I eat whatever is in the student union or cafateria. I'm not fat though by any means. I'm really just way too skinny. I have fat on my stomach area, but If I did cardio it would go away, but so would the rest of the small amount of weight on my body. Sleep is usually an issue. I go to bed pretty late and wake up pretty early on the weekdays. As far as training goes. I can barely bech 75 lbs (which i know is pathetic) but i used to be able to bench like 125, but then i stoppd for a long time and now i can't. So anyway, i usually stick to free weights doing curls and lateral raises. Then i do weight machines focusing on back, shoulders, chest, bicepts and tricepts. My goal is that when i can do the machines comfortably and not struggle with those then i'll move up and start doing weights again. i don't really want to embarass myself in front of a bunch of people. As far as the testosterone test...that may be a good idea. I have a really strong sex drive though, I also have really thick facial hair (doesn't that mean you have a lot of testosterone?) But I do sleep for up to 12 hours at a time without waking up if i don't have to get up for some reason. I know that my eating habits and workout routine aren't very good. But I also know guys that eat just like me who look alot better than me. Genetics i suppose. Maybe I should just try to work out harder... oh. and thanks for the membership preview. That was really cool of you. :)

there is your problem right there. your DIET. you are maybe eating 1500 cals a day. and that is in carbs and fat mostly. you have to eat to grow or else your body has nothing to repair itself and create hypertrophy in the muscle tissue.

My young friend... Bodybuilding is MOSTLY about diet and eatting properly If you can't commit to that... please don't even consider AAS.

That's not to say you need fancy food - but clean food. Un-processed food:

Tuna (in the can), eggs, chicken, steak, brown rice, fresh brocholi, apples, protein shakes, bananas, lots of water.
Do you think you can gain access to that grocery list, or a friends kitchen?
