that is awesome that you two can relate like that..me and needto started out as friends as well....

i just need to get my mind around the fact i have two anam cara
and if i were to decide between my gf of few months or my lover/friend of over 20 years what would i do

in sincerity i believe diana would give me leave and wish me the best
being i waited this long and was picky enough to stick to my guns
 
i think that if you were to chose between the two that you should think of all the pro's and cons of both.
If you chose your friend of over 20 years would the two of you ever be able to have more?
If you choose current g/f will she be as understanding of your friendship with your friend of over 20 yrs or would it be all jealousy?
that must be a hard decision to go through.

not so hard
if in over 20 years nothing more has happened i doubt if anything ever will
my gf of a few months is the only person i have ever known to sneak up on me
we know where each other is and not worried about what we are doing
there is a language barrier but not much
all the pros and cons about diana were weighed years ago when i left cali
i have always been one to establish what and who a person was on first contact
and on first contact my gf's laughter was like the lilting music that one finds when one needs to feel at home
