I need some elite fitness advice please!!

Follow your heart. Money is not everything. Happiness is.

My cousin wanted to get his masters in film. He was debating whether or not to do it because it is very difficult to get a job and the tuition was outrageous.

I told him to think about where he would be in 10 years and whether he would regret his decision if he did not go. I told him the money didn't matter, the cost of tuition didn't matter, what his parents thought didn't matter. What mattered was whether he could live with his decision.

He made it though the program, struggled for a year after graduation and was doing odd jobs for TV stations, but he didn't give up and he just released his first full length motion picture in DC this past week. I know he knows he made the right decision because he followed his heart and he did what made him happy.

sadly enough - he just wasted his money. He could've saved that money for his first film instead. No one here cares about 'degrees'. Oh well. :)

what do you mean no one here cares about degrees?

My best friend is a plumber. He works for a small base salary plus commission. He sometimes brings home $1500+ a week. If it is slow he gets his lousy $500 base salary. Still not bad money I guess. You can always fall back on that trade because people will always use toilets.

I would probably go back to school, but my focus would be on something in the medical field. You can make some good jack with a two year nursing degree and also get the fulfillment of helping others, and meeting hot ass little nurse sluts. I am actually thinking about going back to school myself soon. I am considering nursing as I already have all the prerequisites.

Go with what you love to do, the money will follow. If you don't like plumbing, don't do it just because you think the money might be good. Graphic desing only pays $30k a year? I would think there is mor potential in it then that?

He lives in Washington easy money, I'm a designer (product designer) work in Photoshop & Illustrator all day. Add 60k on to that 30k a year and that is what you can make as a GD if you live in Seattle with a bit of experiance.

Fuck plumming bro, go back to school but learn Silverlight or Flash Actionscript 3.0 each job pays over 100k easy.

Can you learn the graphic design stuff by correspondence while also working in plumbing? That way you can be doing something you enjoy and also be learning two skills at the same time rather than doing one after the other. And you should be able to keep the loan if you can show them you are doing courses.

I agree with everyone who says follow your passion - but you need to be able to make money doing it.

action script is where it's at, i cant find any school that teaches it though....i know how to use flash, just not the coding/action script side.....man i've never seen jobs that pay that well, they're all $30k or less and want 4 years experience.

i look it that this is probably the only good time i can go back to school, i live around all my family, be getting $400 a week for free, free school, and if i dont get job when i'm done i could always pick up side jobs and make an extra few hundred a month.....the plumbing thing is good to know, decent pay, but the work sucks and to make good money take luck for the jobs to keep flowing in...i'm gonna talk to my boss about it tommorow...i hope he will let me work 3 days so i cn go to school fulltime 2 days

having been in trade work, i say go to school instead
too many variables, too many layoffs, long drive times to find work, waits in the unemployment line
find something more steady
