Hey MOD, I assist on micro discs all the time with one of our ortho docs. Shoot me an email if you got any questions, or if I can be of any help to you.

i meet the surgeon on thursday, so i'm hoping to get this done by next week. the 24 hr pain is getting to me, i can see how people in chronic pain comment suicide.

hey gang,

i go in for back surgery next thursday ...my disc did rupture and now is floating on my siatic nerve so he will go in and remove that and some other shit that i would rather not know about ...he said i wont see the inside of a gym for at least 6 weeks and then that is only walking on the treadmill...wish me luck but if i die on the table i will leave all my gear to guys

hey guys i'm in fucking bad shape, i'm suppose to have back surgery thursday but i dont think i can wait that long...the pain is so bad i feel like shooting myself...my disc did rupture and now is pressing right on the siatic nerve.....the doc just wrote me some oxycontin...so after rambling here my question is....any of you guys know about this drug?

also i have a feeling i will be admited to the hospital by this evening.

oh man, things sound horrible!!!

I'm far from a doctor but it really sounds like you should just go to the hospital....remember how people laugh at others on this board for not going to the ER for a possible abscess?....This sounds 100x more serious.....If I had a friend in that much pain I'd definitely make them go.

The only thing I know about that drug is that it supposedly works wonderful for those that really need it.
