My former wo partner has gotten at least six of them. Ive gotten one. Just ignore it.

Im sorry but if I was to get a seizure letter I would pack up and find a new place to have gear sent to.. I dont think you can over-react enough if you get a seizure letter..

In case you forgot, gear is illegal.. Don't take it for granted...

I agree with cracker. Good advice. Another thing that i have learned about the cops is that unless the are cuffing you on the spot and taking you under arrest right then and there, then just save them their breath and your stress and ask "are you placing my under arrest?" they have to tell you when you ask. If they say no, you can simply tell them you do not wish to speak to them. Even denial is dialogue and should be avoided when possible. Of course some of our laws are quite different in Canada.

There seems to be some confusion about what someone should do.

First, #1 and Always: It's up to you! If you want to and choose to talk to the cops that is your choice.

However, you don't ever have to talk to the police. Ever! Period. No matter what. If you are arrested and they put you into a room all you have to do is ask for a lawyer. Once you say those words they must by law provide one.

They have to provide you with a lawyer without any furthur questioning. Period. Those are the plain and simple rules.

Now - The lawyer will come and the very first thing he will tell you is to keep your damn mouth shut.

Within the next day or so bail will be set or you will even more likely be released on the spot knowing that it's up to the police and the procecutor to build a case against you.

Point: You never have to sit in a room and talk to the cops if you don't want to. This goes for any crime - no matter what it is - as long as you are a citizen taken into custody in the US.

Alot of people don't know that they don't have to say a word and the police take advantage of this cause anything you say can and will be used against you.

The ONLY time that a law enforcement officer can not lie is A COURT OF LAW.
At all other times it is to be assumed that what they are telling you is a lie.
SIMPLE RULES:

1) PLAY DUMB
2) DO NOT ADMIT TO ANYTHING, just say something like "I'm confused, I don't know what's going on, and I'd better get a lawyer because what you're talking about sounds like a serious crime." And leave it at that.
3) COPS CANT MAKE DEALS TO LIGHTEN YOUR SENTENCE. Only the prosecutor or judge can do that.
4) BEING "TRUTHFUL" TO COPS IS THE STUPIDEST THING YOU CAN DO.
5) TRYING TO CONCOCT A STORY (LYING) TO COPS IS THE SECOND STUPIDEST THING YOU CAN DO. (just don't say ANYTHING!)
6) IF YOU GIVE UP YOUR SUPPLIER, THEN THE COPS HAVE TWO ARRESTS INSTEAD OF ONE. THEY WILL NOT, I REPEAT, NOT LET YOU GO IF YOU GIVE SOMEONE UP. No matter how many times they say that or how many different ways they say it, don't believe it. EVER.
