I'm not a doctor either, If you can walk you are ok. The only bad injection is when you hit that nerve on the inner half of your rump. Sounds like you are walking. I have the same soreness on the outer top of my rumps. just like you describe. I also have scar tissue there, like the sole of a shoe. Now I hit the shoulders, tricepts, and thighs. I did 100 injections on the scar tissue more or less though. My babe is a nurse and she had to explain to a patient that the patients sore depo injection site was okay. The patient didn't understand why the doctor told her to put ice on the injection site and rushed her out of the office. The point is if you can walk, there is nothing you can do about a sore injection site. To bad we can't all just ask our doctors. Mine would tell me to find another doctor if I admit I am using Sch 3 drugs.
