I need a gun license

I got this email today. Some Vato wants to try this shit on me I will bust a cap in their ass! :evil:

The Houston and Pasadena Police Departments have issued a warning to all drivers that the gang MS 13 is currently initiating members into their gang. They are rear ending cars and when the person gets out they are opening fire on the person. Please be very careful as just last night an 18 year old girl was shot and killed after she was rear ended. It happened at the Case Ole parking lot on Spencer near the Deer Park Wal-Mart.
 
You live in Houston, its easy to legally get a gun. But get the state CHL permit first so you can carry on your person. Although its ok to carry in your car without a permit if youre ok with leaving the piece in your car if you go places.

I didn't realize it was ok to carry in car with no permit? I don't know what good it would do me though if I can't shoot outside the car if someone is walking up to my car about to take fire. lol I have a gun at home. I don't know if I would want one in my car or not with my kids and all though :( Just sucks stupid shit like this goes on. Killing innocent people like that just for street cred.

lol if someone tried to do anything bad I would not go down without a fight :) It's crazy stuff though man I have illegal tint on my car because I don't want to be seen. Especially at night driving alone.

Yeah there is quite a bit of crime in my big city. We have even had some carjackings out here in the burbs.

I know! Crazy Vatos!! I heard that so my co-worker looked up the gang and we were reading some crazy shit about them. They will even kill kids for the street cred. Sadly though I think gang problems will only get worse with all the broken families and not having a father figure in their life,etc. IMO.

Honestly, I do not think that Texas has a carry law for safe passage.

CCW is easy to get though and you should look into it.

We have a shithead Cambodian gang that tries that here....and about a month ago, two little shits tried something like that. The guy in the car (probably Hotzie in disguise) happened to be carrying an AK with him. He unleashed on the little Cambodian shits and their friends.
 
Im a correctional officer and we have some of these guys in our prion. MS-13 aint so bad in there though, the white supremists are the ones to keep an eye on

lol if he has been training since 12 then he should be good ;) My girl will be 7 here soon when she gets her black belt. Maybe I should put her up against alcatraz to see how good he is? ;)

someone said the gangs related back to broken homes. partly true, but a big part is that the US justice system is a fucking joke. If they dont pretty much shot someone in front of a cop, they prolly wont get caught. If they do , they get to go to jail which is prolly a better enviroment than they are used to. Which also jacks up our taxes. then they get a couple years, get out as beg shots in their gang. As far as packing goes, I prefer my Colt .45 auto loaded with hollow points.

Yeah we have a 9 at home, but I don't think that would fit in my purse ;) K9 looks pretty small. I want to protect myself, but I worry about my kids. Guns around kids make me nervous. The gun we have at home us up very high in a locked case with the clip not in it. I often wonder if hubby would even have the time to get the thing out if we had an intruder. lol We have an alarm though so at least we would have a little notice for him to grab it.
 
got mine.. a better solution is to keep a

winchester 1300 "Defender" in the back seat floor.. that way you don't have to worry too much about licensing in different states..

by the way..

my concealed carry is good in 28 states... yea for me..

Then if you have kids the best solution by far is the H&K P7M8 with its squeeze cocking lever (front grip). That's what I use mostly and its by far the best pistol I've ever owned. Small, accurate, safe and extremely reliable.

Houston has it's own gun laws, "IF you feel like your life is in danger at ANY time, kill the sumbitch, the DA won't even take the case" assuming that you do have a fairly good reason. You don't even get no billed, it won't make it to the grand jury. It's just "oh well, sumbitch either was stupid for messing with the wrong person or he was threating their life."
Seen it too many times...

when I was a kid we had guns all over the house. I knew where every one of them was. They were all loaded. My parents had 4 kids, with loaded guns in the house at all times, none of them locked up. None of the kids ever played with the guns, or shot any friends/family or themselves.

I think I was 5 when my dad showed me where one .22 revolver was. Said if anyone ever got in our house (who wasn't supposed to be there) while I was home to get that gun and shoot them. He showed me how to use it, but I never shot a pistol until I was about 8 or 9 (at a target, not a person).

If that were to happen today and anyone reported it, I bet kids could be taken by CPS. :rolleyes:

Silver, you realize the H-town doesn't really have it's own laws that supercede federal, it's the prevailing climate of the police and the justice system. It's not the old west exactly, just not too far from it.

If you get rear ended, and your on the phone calling the police, if one of them grabs the door and tries to open it, shoot his ass. The police won't ask why you happen to be carring a weapon, that will be pretty evident.

the police report will read something like the following:

Wed 4/2/08 11:30 AM
Location: I45 and FM 1960

Big breasted blond was rear ended by 3 gang bangers. She shot one that grabbed the door handle. Subject was DOA, the others are still at large.

that's pretty much it...... that shit doesn't even make the news, except to warn others that that rear ending shit is happening...

My co-worker said she asked her cop husband about the urban legend and he says they just tell the community that so people don't worry and shit that it does actually happen. Who the hell knows.

Yep, my brother and I grew up with a father that hunted everything. Guns and ammo all over the place, we knew not to touch them.

I rarely leave home without my Kahr MK40 (a good gun) or 1911 Kimber Pro (a fantastic gun). I am sure this is an Urban legend but, MS-13 and other gangs with the number 13 in the name have a nasty rep. I steer clear of places were I have seen people with the number 13 tattoo or spider web tattoos.
