I Love The New Karma System!!

i fuckin hate it. theres gonna be alot of red given out. holy fuck man ur soft.

GS plot to make people buy more platinum memberships or renew their old platinum memberships so that they will be able to receive karma hits without being negatively affected.

The new K system only really effects COTB with the lower k power so it's cool. I can still hit by peeps with 200% for 40 times with no reduction in my own k pot

We hit for 200% of our karmaic power
We can hit 40 times a day
We are not affected by the current changes, save karmaic power reduction

I didn't go PFL for the k. I did it for the hot chick galleries but all the fuckwads ran them off long ago. It's already paid for itself so it's gravy from here on out. There is no COTB in this negro's future.

The really cool thing about the Karma system is that I now have nothing else to do with my hits than give out red K. Actually, that's not cool at all, it's shite but it's all that remains.

I think a 110% red on every thread starter might cause a stir.

Elite Fitness is a business. As long as I have been here, it has always been run like a business - in an effort to make money and attract new paid memberships. Why would ANY of the members here be surprised at ANY of the changes that are being made or have been made here in the past. Dont be naive, people. Jesus H Christ. There's too much crying going on.

On the contrary the alternative is move meekly to the slaughter. In the main, I enjoy my time here on EF. Occasionally things here piss me off and I weigh one against the other as, I expect, does everyone else. Running like a business is not generally a recipe for hacking off your customers which this move seems to have done. At the moment it seems like a bad business decision. Time will tell.
 
I just think people are being silly if they change the way they spread K because of the change in the system. It's ridiculous, okay, if your numbers are low, instead of 110% hit for less, but if we start acting like misers this board will dry the hell up.

Now that the Karma really IS ours then it really IS spreading good vibrations.

Face it, even if you give away every DOT of Karma, are you any less of a person? Are your opinions any more or less valid? Are the galleries any less interesting? The information less accessible?

We are not our Karma.

If I stress over this my life is shot (truly, I have my husband, my cats, my weights, my job and EF, EMPTY life ...) and seeing the people on the board stress over this makes me sad :worried:

Honestly, that has nothing to do with it. apparently the system is on the verge of some sort of a crash if some of the karma inflation isn't squelched. I don't really understand how that works from a computer/internet aspect but it has been talked about for a while in the mod forum. There was even a thread put out by GS about suggestions on these ideas.

I realise you're posting 'tongue in cheek' but Hammy has always been generous to me with his K. I remember back when I was non-Plat and hitting for single digits getting K from Hammy while many other big hitters would just ignore. He just doesn't donate much which is not unreasonable since a double-hit from him is larger than a bountiful donation from most others. Woot too for that matter.

Much agreed!
Hammy revealed the truth and ways of the karma force to me long ago and has always been generous to me and I can add Klu in there with him.
 
There are several others who really got me moving on the K ladder but I'm not sure whether they ticked the 'no publicity' box.

No. I had early sponsors who would hit me frequently despite my having only crumbs to give in return.
