So my car needs to be repaired. The water pump, a/c clutch, and a few other shitty things need to be done..Well I took it to the screw balls who broke it and they refused to take the responsibility and admit that they broke it..They wanted to charge me over 300 on just the water pump alone. I figure the pulley still turns and that I never use the a/c so why rush on fixing the clutch! Well the pump is a 60 dollar part...It is not a 3 hour worth of labor job!! That is not inc the fact that they have to flush my radiator and add new fluids, about 2 gallons. So that would be another 30-40 plus another hour of labor..which would be about 400 then some bucks
So I call the local garage here in my town, they worked on it before and were fast and good to me. They will charge me less than what the other place will...And my fluids will be free! The book says it takes 3 hours, he said it is slow there and he will have it done in about 1 to 1 1/2 hours....So only about 60 + 80=140 so rough up to about 150-200 dollar....depending on if they find anything else wrong..And they agree that I dont need the clutch done!
Ha load off of my shoulders..
