You need to work as a mule for a while with someone who is connected. A mule does errands. Then if you are provin trust worthy you move up to jobs, then from there you get contract work and if you are family or you prove yourself to be worth it. You get made.

Well, firstly you do not "join" the mafioso. You become a mafioso when you join the mafia.

Why you wanna join the mafia anyhow? Just become an investment banker or a lawyer or something...
if you are serious about being in organized crime, then maybe you should enter politics or so...

-Never refer to someone as mafioso. Always say things like "Very popular man" "Well known person in the neighborhood".
