I just fell down and busted my ass. Think I hurt my foot.

And I just gave my daughter a verbal thrashing for it. I stepped off the back porch and fell down on my ass hard. I was looking out into the yard and saw that the dog's water bucket was overturned and empty and they probably haven't had water for days. Also there were 3 or 4 towels and washrags chewed up because my daughter left them outside. I just chewed her out real good. Told her that she killed her other animals out of irresponsibility and that if she wanted to kill her dogs, then keep up her dumbass behaviour. I'm getting sick of it. She's nearly 14 yrs. old.

I think I'm gonna ground her. This is getting ridiculous. She is so wasteful. Doesn't understand the value of a dollar and is always making excuses for her irresponsibility. I can guarantee her that no man will put up with her bullshit if she doesnt get it together. She leaves her towels all over the house, leaves doors open to the outside, turns the air down to 68 degress and doesn't turn it back up when she leaves, leaves lights on all over the house. Costs me quite a bit just being wasteful and irresponsible. Leaves her clothes at friend's houses. Leaves the kitchen a miss, etc etc etc. If I didn't love her so much, I'd kick her ass on the streets in a heartbeat.

Goddamn I'm so pissed off right now I can't even function. I just called her to come home. I'm laying down the law. If she tries to run away because she can't handle being grounded, I'll call the police to go and get her and hold her there for awhile.

She's trying to talk herself out of it again. Claiming that she will cry all weekend if I ground her and that's not a good reason to ground her. I just caled the owner of the skating rink and he told me that she said, "My dad grounded me last weekend but he won't stick to it because he loves me too much." I'm holding my ground this time. I hope she can deal with it.

Give my a little sympathy assholes. This being a parent to a difficult child stuff is hard stuff.

This kid is something else. She pulls very trick in the book. She says I'm grounding her just because I fell down and my anger revolves solely around the fact that I fell down. . She's crying now. She's over at her friend's house and the phone is ringing off the hook, I'm not answering it this time.

I tell you what though. I'll stick this out to the very end. I love that kid. If I can't get her to be more responsible, I'll die trying.

okay, I'll bite (no pun intended) you did say she is 13 right? sounds like she is acting it. And why is she next door if she is grounded?
