I think even 60% overall is low. Before I got married we had to take a class about communication through the church we were getting married at (it was required) at that time (5 years ago) they said the rate in America was at 70%

I have been married nearly 2 years and I still haven't gotten a formal proposal OR an engagement ring. My sister, matter-of-fact, bought our wedding bands, both didn't cost $100.00 total. I guess I was just one of them there dumber gold-diggers.
