I just ate an entire raw onion by itself...

I don't know why it seemed so good but I sliced up a red onion and ate it like an apple.

Plus, women who have had babies, in the last few weeks are you supposed to feel like you are on your period constantly? Terrible cramping. ugh.

I dont' think anything can prepare someone for that.

I will tell you this. I have watched a few videos and have seen the nurses getting right up in the woman's space and holding her legs back, barking orders, counting to ten for pushing, etc. I'll tell you right now that I will tell them to SHUT UP and BACK OFF and to let me do this thing..lol.

well yeah. the baby is positioning and your pelvis is shifting to allow for the babay to fit through the birth canal.

doesnt it feel awesome??!!

a) you will need someone to remind you wtf to do and to focus on cuz you'll be ouot of your mind in pain unless you have an epidural (i didnt and my son was 9lb13oz.
b) didnt you take any birthing classes like lamaze or sumfin?
 
you have some weird cravings girl. those arent baby cramps, its gas from that onion..lol

oh and i recommend watching what you eat as it gets closer to the date. my son was a month early and we didnt prepare. luckily she was fasting because of bloodwork she was going to have at the docs office but when we got there they decided to induce her because our sons hearbeat was real slow. we thought we had a whole month to prepare for the delivery. boy were we wrong.

I plan on getting an epidural as soon as possible. Hell, if they would give me one now I would probably take it. :lmao:

No, I didn't take any classes. There is only one woman around this god forsaken place and she said that I must bring a partner to class. She was very inflexible about that so I just bought a book and read it instead.

Oh, and the head into the pelvis thing is making me grumpy...lol.

I would love to be induced now, but not as a result of any complications...lol. I better quit whining and just let that bun bake in the oven some more.

braxton hicks for you, most likely, plus, the baby shifting down.

i have good news though. it gets worse.

Wow, big baby. I was TEN lbs lol. My brothers were in the upper 9's as well.. and my Mom was something like 10 and a 1/2 :worried:
I don't think I'll be having children anytime soon!

I was right at ten lbs too. My brothers and sisters were all little 6-7 lbs.

However, my father weighed 13lbs! He was born at home with no drugs. :worried: No wonder my grandma was sort of a grump...lol.

If they would put me all the way under, I would do it...lol. They already know that I want the epidural ASAP.

I think they should put my dad and stepmother under general, too. That way they wont say anything to annoy me while i'm in labor...lol.

they are going to be there??? yuck, that sucks. i would if i could but then again you'd probably curse me out and i had nothing to do with it.

Yeah, I don't have the heart to tell my dad not to come. He hasn't done anything bad. He just gets on my nerves if we are together too much. My stepmom I really would prefer not to be there after all the nasty things she has said, but it would just upset my dad if I told her not to come.

I don't want them in the room with me though once the contractions get bad and certainly not during the actual birth. I want to be able to focus on what I'm doing. With them there, I will be focused on not freaking them out, entertaining them, etc.

nope, you will use that moment as an amnesty session and curse them out for everything you ever wanted to.....then blame the labor pains and such and they will forgive you....
