i have an awesome job

for a few days in the beginning of the month, i'm a little busy. nobody is breathing down my neck though, so i can take as long as i want to do some reports. and when we have a tradeshow, i have some easy coordinating to do, but most things are pretty routine.

sometimes I have to sign off an approval or invoice or approve someone's overtime.

the rest of the time... i pretty much do what I want. today i went for a long walk, sat outside and had some lunch, played online.

tomorrow i'm picking out some promotional items to buy and playing volleyball.

i come and go when i want, workout in the company gym, and they often pay for my breakfast and lunch. I have an assistant who is happy to do anything, and I think i'm getting a raise in february.

life is good.

Glad you like your job stilletto, I remember you had some doubts before.

I like mine too. Working directly in my field of expertise, lots of freedom and independence like you, and best of all, the travel is great.

I get to live in Portugal and this year I´ve been to Norway, Italy, Germany, Spain and Belgium and later I am bound for Finland and Afghanistan.

I LOVE being a dad! That's the best job in the world. Like playing baseball, hockey, throwing the ball infront of the $4000.00 TV when his mother tells us not to time after time. Giving the OK to eat the candy bar right before dinner. Watching for his mom so he can act like he's asleep when we are watching another movie instead of him sleeping.
I have some things I have to do to eat, have play money, things like that. Helps when you own the company and pay the other people to do the work.

I think apart of it is because I'm 22 now and it's my first year, so most of the people I'm meeting are 18-19.. which isn't a bad thing when they are pretty girls. (we have alot on our campus, it's rediculous how much my neck hurts on a daily basis)

I just really need to get organized, and I only enjoy one out of the four courses I'm taking right now, statistics and economics are a little stale. =/

true. but try to look at the big picture. your job is just to learn stuff you'll use for the rest of your life. nomatter how trivial or stale it seems, every single class betters yourself and gives you something to be proud of.

My god I know, I've never seen so many INTELLIGENT.. Hot.. nerdy girls in one place..

I just hope I don't break my nose when I walk into a wall.

I know it's a part of the fun, but so many of my closest friends are all in trades.. $$.. alot of them make over six figures a year, so sometimes it just kinda sucks a bit yanno, but I've got plans to make some decent money this year regardless of being in school.

i love my job. the pressure and stress is high but it keeps me motivated to perform.

today I got to sit in on a lunch meeting where we interviewed a candidate for Regional Medical Director (psychiatrist). The conversation was stimuating and interesting.

once in a while i get to do something creative and I love that. i think my job has a great mixture of creativity, importance, and freedom, but i do like it when there's some deadline or stress and I'm on the spot.
