Those work aswell, Q-tip is just alittle softer, I find it to work just aswell. Put pressure on it, it will pop and hurt like a mother for a few seconds but after that you should be ok.

Agreed. The only problem I have had with Q-Tips is that they don't always provide enough friction to push on that sucker til it goes. But hell yeah, if he can use that, I agree. Much more comfortable.
