i hate when songs i like start getting really heavy radio play

maybe i'm a music snob, and a dick for rooting against the commercial success of my favorite artists, but i just feel cheated when i find an awesome song and it ends up getting blasted all over the place for everyone to hear. Kind of like when you flop a straight, and then the turn and river form your same straight. lameee.

i was doing rows with 225x6 (even though im still deloading, i used good form and was semi proud)

and butterball walks up slaps 4 plates on each side and does it for 8...bent over bb rows...with 405...wtf?

If you're listening to music that appeals to the masses, you probably have poor taste in music. :D

I can probably relate though, lol. One of the appeals of extreme music is that it doesn't get played on the radio or MTV. (And no, before anyone says crap, Slipnought, Sevendust, Creed or any of that other purported "heavy" crap is not extreme music, and certainly not metal.) We've been waiting for In Flames to hit the mainstream, but they never really did in the US. Sentenced were going that way, but they weren't radio-friendly, lol. Luckily, there's a college radio station here that plays Corpse/Morbid/Suffocation style metal every Friday night, lol.

Music in the US is generally quite bad. If you listen to stuff from other countries that aren't in english, you have a much better chance of the radio not playing it.
