Add to my luck the fact that I live in one of the only Countries in the World where people can still smoke pretty much where they feel like it...

I mean, WTF? Countries with long standing smoking traditions like Spain, Ireland and Italy already put up with the EU normative and their closed spaces (restaurants, pubs, bars, etc) ARE to have a non-smokers area MANDATORY... if they don't meet a certain size, they need to be smokefree altogether...

here? wow, last night was a breakthrough since now it will be forbidden to advertise cigarretes in magazines and movies...



That is not the worst, how about the mothers who drive with their kids in the car, chain-smoking with the FUCKING WINDOWS UP??? WTF is up with people?

I went for lunch today with some coworkers, needless to say, I was the only non-smoker (I swear we are the minority), the minute we sat they all took their cigs out and started smoking.

they smoked while ordering
they smoked while waiting for their orders
they smoked at least 3 cigs each after we were waiting for the bill.

This is fucking disgusting, I smell like an ashtray, the worst is when you get home, take a hot shower and the steam that raises smells like a fucking brothel (never been to one, but Bran says they are cool)

Smokers, please post here, I feel you should pay for this

i think people should be able to smoke in their cars and in their homes, but NOT in any public place, ESPECIALLY restaurants......i hate NOTHING more than to smell a fucking cigarrette while im trying to eat

I agree whole-heartedly bro, my father's best friend is the health comissioner for Toledo and he's been trying to get the smoking ban put back into place. What I can't stand is when there are a group of people blocking an entryway into a grocery store or any retail store for that matter and I have my 6 month old daughter with me and I'm forced to walk through a billowing cloud of smoke. I wish I had the ability to hold my breath for her.

I brought up the topic during lunch, they replied that it takes a HUGE amount of willpower to quit, and that I as a non-smoker, could never understand how hard it was.
