Just to let you know - I hate slug guns.
Shot a deer last monday at 35 yards right where it should go. At that distance we are talking about 2,000 ft./lbs of energy and guess what? Had to drag the deer about 250 yards up hill because that is ho far it ran without a drop of blood.
Also, this is the secnd time this has happened to me with a slug and I have only shot 2 deer with slugs.
I begininng to think that this whole large caliber "must have a 300 ultra mag" bullshit is just that!
