I hate my mom.

I haven't talked to both my parents in years, best thing ever.
 
i never got along with my mom until i became fully independent; now that she doesn't feel responsible if i fuck up we get along marvelously
 
I talk to my mom almost every day...I was lucky to draw great parents I guess. I feel sorry for all of you who weren't so lucky.
 
Am I the only one on EF that doesn't have a parent issue? I gave my father's eulogy proudly and attend to my mother's needs as best I can.

Wow this thread makes me sad. So many not talking to their parents. They must be some shitty ass parents for anyone to not speak to them in forever or say they hate them :(

My parents are the greatest. My best friends mother got three credit cards in his name and maxed them all out upwards of 20K. His credit is fucked and he doesnt have the heart to file a police report. What a sorry whore. I would beat that bitches ass.

i have a different mindset than her in terms of goals and what i define as successful, but in the end we both have the same loving heart and it shows

My mom is awesome. Still tries her hardest to baby me since I'm the youngest. I find it comical but whatever makes her happy.
 
I have a great relationship with both of my parents as well. Always have. I feel sorry for people who don't...whatever the cause. I know sometimes it's best to get certain people out of your life (even family), so I can't knock anyone who made a choice for the better. I still think it is sad though.

oh, i'm not trying to make you feel bad, frenchie. . .on the contrary. . .as i stated in my original post, i feel bad FOR YOU. . .i get a lot of strength, support, laughs, etc. from all the wimminz in my life and i couldn't imagine having it any other way. . .i know quite a few people who had one or the other parent skip out on them when they were young. . .by far, the ones whose father skipped (and they were left to be raised by their mom) are a LOT more well adjusted adults than the ones who had it the other way around. . .

besides. . .i like you. . .i would never intentionally do anything to make you feel bad. . .you know that. :)

I had the same experience with my Dad.
I've always got along with my Mom.
I live 1200 miles away from my parents/sister/grandpa and only see them every 2 to 3 years.
I'm thankfull for emails.
Grandpa turns 100 on March 3rd. I've very excited about it, though I haven't seen him since last August.

we are cool now but i still hate her sometimes. i still have resentment towards her.

She still does not care she says oh well i was not in the position to take care of children. I was not mentally healthy enough. so you just fucking leave? you were sure healthy enough to go run off with our chiropractor on his yatch and drink and party.

im comming to visit with some friends bro i will let you know what hotel we r staying at.....they told me it was fucking nice...my boy goes out there all the time

stay at the Delano (if it's not booked) or the Shore club,if you want to have a sick time. They're two of the more pricier hotels, but the quality and service is unmatched. Plus both have nice lounges/restaurants inside that are ridiculous. Delano on a tuesday night or Shore club on a friday night is poppin

Loews is nice and so is the rooney palace

most of the other hotels are shitty little art deco spots. not bad, but you want a sick experience stay at the above.
