A market near my hosue has one of thoe small bank booths inside. Anyways, I went to use the ATM, was standing in line when i saw some chick inside the booth looking at me and kind of saying hi. I got confused and thought she was asking if I needed to do some real banking so I just nodded no. Then she giggled, and with a big smile said "hey, Sorearms, don't you rememeber me?" . I looked at her for a few seconds then kind of remembered her, said a very dismissive kind of hi, kind of like "oh, yeah, hey" and then my turn on the ATM came up so I walked away.
I got my money, and went on to do some shopping. Then I remembered her, she was the cousin of some chick I dated when I was like 19, and I did some things with her too. So I thought "alright, she was smiling and looking at me like she might have wanted a little somethin' somethin'" so I went back to bank booth to talk to her. She was standing up and doing something, she saw me walking toward the booth. I sat down in the chair on her window and wsa like "so hey, what's up?" She walked over kind of dismissively stood behind her chair, stoo not sat, and was like "oh, just wrking here, blah blah blah" All the smiles and warmth she was giving me a ocuple of minutes a go were gone. So I jsut said "OK, nice seeing you again" and walked away.
So WTF, was this chick just bitter and/or turned off 'cause I didn't remember her right away or did I misinterpret her smiles and joy in her voice at seeing me?
