I had Optimum's 100% whey chocolate tested for purity. I also had their Protein diet checked as well.

Chocolate 100% whey had 75.7g protein per 100 grams

Label claims 74.82

Chocolate 100% whey had 360 calories per 100 grams

Label claims 374


Protein diet chocolate had 76.9g protein per 100g

Label claims 70g

Protein diet chocolate had 368 calories per 100g

Label claims 400


The testing was done by American Analytical Chemistry Labs. The method was AOAC.

I think that's one of the only compagnie who realy respect what they write on their labels... they Said too 80 serving, but I checked it one time.. and there was 82 servind in my 5 pounds bottle...

I was kind of skeptical too, but I'm glad to hear this, if it is indeed true, since I use their whey.
There's a guy on this board that asked, "do you honestly believe they even come close to their label claims," when I said Optimum was a good company for protein. Well there it is, so kiss my ass!!

I took a look at the latest Flex and was really disappointed on how Optimum is promoting their ZMA and HMB. They have a cut-out face of an absolute dork pasted on a roided out dude's body. Pretty sad, but I'm sure a lot of newbies will fall for it.

They have had the liquid creatine a long time. This was when everyone thought it worked. They are getting rid of a lot of items. At least they don't promote it hard. The reason their prices are generally cheaper than others is because they make and distribute their own product, which is rare.

I dont care if they sell products that dont work like HMB as LONG as they put in everyting they say they do on the label.

I sent the chocolate, which is the most popular flavor. It is a 29.4g scooper which had 22.25g of protein (label said 22)

The problem is that I don't have a sample on hand. Someone would have to send me at least 100g of powder for me to be able to do it. If someone is in terested in this let me know.

P.S. Due to extreme cost I could not get the break down of what type of protein is in the product, but I can tell you how much total protein is in it.

someone send him a sample. I went to Optimum's website, there stuff is cheap. Which protein tastes good? I got their postworkout formula, Glycoload- a mix of Dextrose, Maltodextrin, and Fructose, 50grams of Carbs p/serving- watermelon flavor, taste good.
