I got totally freaked out tonight

I was next door,its where i keep my home gym, Band equipment ..etc, it was my parents house,they passed away many yrs ago, anyway theres this black rotary dial phone on the wall,its been there as long as i can remember, i keep the house up for out of town guests and such, anyway the line has been removed from the phone, i personally taken the entire line out yrs ago ,and the phone company removed the rest from the house, i'm watering the plants in the other room and i hear what i thought was a ring, i'm like what the hell? Then theres another, i walk into the other room looking at the phone and it rings again,at this time i'm thinking my ears are messing up i walk right up to the phone and it rings again,now i'm starting to freak out and an erie feeling comes over me then it rings again reluctently i pick it up and its dead.

It did this before when i was sitting there listening to the stereo one night around 2 am, i was thinking geez! turn the mic down so callers wont be heard calling in, i never suspected it was really the phone.
all i needed to top it off was a creepy voice.Now i'm gonna start feeling creepy when i go over there at night! SHIT!
